a new post... (finally!)

free time yey! i decided to blog while waiting for my laundry to finish.

we're spending our first night at our new apartment and there's no internet connection for now and so out of boredom, i decided to update my blog offline and have it posted tomorrow.

wow! it's been ages since i posted something here... for everyone's information i've been just a little bit busy with my personal and professional life. to summarize this chapter of my life, i'll have it listed down in bullets:

* got married at 31 on january 26 this year and 'twas also our 3rd year anniversary that day.
* we had our honeymoon @ bohol
* i left headstrong and moved to rcg.
* my wife donna got pregnant but unfortunately, it wasn't meant to be
* i got an on shore assignment here in chicago IL
* moved to a new apartment for the third time and hopefully it's final

i had some of realizations during my engagement with donna. i realized that getting married is not just something you do, it something that you really have to plan for and execute as scheduled. not to mention you have to be concious of the budget set for the wedding. it was a test of patience and determination as well. a lot of times you'll be faced to come up with decisions regarding every minor detail of the wedding and you'll really find yourself stressed out in the end.

ok, nose bleed nako sa english break muna...

masarap na mahirap pag nasa abroad ka. masarap kasi madali kumita ng pera, mahirap kasi malayo ka sa asawa, pamilya, at mga kaibigan.

with regards to work, i'm learning a lot of new stuffs: struts2, spring, maven2, web services, and portlets. i'm lovin' opensource!

time to vent, bakit ang ibang tao masyadong determinadong yumaman at masyadong materialistic? di ko alam, pero ako ayoko ng ganung ugali tsk tsk... we need to be grateful and content of what God has blessed us with.
